LEARNING / READING PROBLEMS UPDATE Jan 2008
1. Dyslexia is a language processing defect rather than a visual system defect.
Eye therapy/Training techniques do not assist with language processing.
2. Early identification and intervention is required in children with reading
difficulties so that they can "read to learn " otherwise it will
become a lifelong barrier to learning.
Following are links to articles and papers which contain in depth information
about the current level of understanding regarding Dyslexia and learning problems.
